REGISTRATION OPENS FEB.1
May 16th is National “Take Your Parents to the Playground Day”, a spin-off of “Take Your Child to Work Day”. We believe that a child’s most important work is play. Through play imaginations grow, relationships are formed, problem solving is ignited, active lifestyles are encouraged, and young minds are molded with diverse interactions. We believe that a child should be able to play seamlessly alongside their siblings, peers, parents, and grandparents – regardless of their age or ability. Our hope is that the play that happens on this playground will foster an inclusive mindset that will carry into schools and into the community.

FAQ: Race Group vs Fundraising Team
Race Group – Participate as a group. Please note that this does not create a fundraising opportunity for your team, simply a social team where you can all register (or compete) as a group and decide how you want to run/walk/roll together come May. Upon registration, you will be asked if you would like to create/join a Race Group. Once a Race Group is created, registrants will be given the option of joining the Race Group as they register (unless the creator makes it password protected).
Fundraising Team – Raise money as a team! Although encouraged, race registration is not required in order to create/join a fundraising team. The first person to set up the Fundraising Team needs visit https://runsignup.com/Race/Donate/106200/BecomeFundraiser to create a Team Fundraising Page. Team fundraisers are made up of individual fundraisers, and the totals will go towards the Team Fundraising goal. From there, the creator of the Fundraising Team will get a link to send out to invite people to join the Fundraising Team, and as people register for the race, they will be given the option of joining the Fundraising Team (unless the creator makes it password protected).
You can have a race team AND a fundraising team if you wish, but most people opt for one or the other.
